Spring Ahead 1999

The Jeffrey Modell Foundation celebrated its 12th Annual Spring Ahead Gala at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Lynne & Caleb Koeppel were honored as the 1999 "Couple of the Year" for their dedication, compassion and love for children. Proceeds from the event helped to support research, physician education and patient support for primary immune deficiency. The event drew over 800 people and packed Spring Ahead's new larger setting in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf . Those attending included researchers and immunologists from Israel, Europe and the U.S. Dr. John W. Rowe, President of Mount Sinai - NYU made a special presentation to Vicki and Fred Modell for their commitment to curing immunodeficiency diseases... "The Century Achievement Award". Overall, the evening raised more than $800,000.
